Job Overview
Seeking an experienced General Manager in Canberra to lead the hotel operation of a larger property with extensive F&B and Event outlets.
To be considered for the position, you must have valid General Manager experiences with emphasis on F&B within branded properties.
- Manage hotel performances, standards objectives & administration
- Monitor business strategies and sales approach
- Monitor and maximise performance of hotels
- Identify revenue opportunities and develop strategies to continually drive performances
- Develop and lead staff & management
- Overseeing all departments with special focus on guest services
- Strong communicator & leader to management team & staff force
- Able to build solid foundation and communication lines
Candidates Profile:
- Success driven individual
- Skilled in hotels with more than 200 Rooms-Any Canberra experience highly regarded
- Decisive administration skills including budgets, business plans & road maps
- Charisma & personal approach to all departments
- Experienced Hotel General Manager & leader
- Demonstrated success managing multiple business units
- High level of commercial and financial background
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Tertiary education in Business/Hospitality desirable
- Fair approach to challenges and caring for the workforce
