Job Overview

Seeking an experienced General Manager in Canberra to lead the hotel operation of a larger property with extensive F&B and Event outlets.

To be considered for the position, you must have valid General Manager experiences with emphasis on F&B within branded properties.

  • Manage hotel performances, standards objectives & administration
  • Monitor business strategies and sales approach
  • Monitor and maximise performance of hotels
  • Identify revenue opportunities and develop strategies to continually drive performances
  • Develop and lead staff & management 
  • Overseeing all departments with special focus on guest services
  • Strong communicator & leader to management team & staff force
  • Able to build solid foundation and communication lines

Candidates Profile:

  • Success driven individual
  • Skilled in hotels with more than 200 Rooms-Any Canberra experience highly regarded
  • Decisive administration skills including budgets, business plans & road maps
  • Charisma & personal approach to all departments
  • Experienced Hotel General Manager & leader
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple business units
  • High level of commercial and financial background
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Tertiary education in Business/Hospitality desirable
  • Fair approach to challenges and caring for the workforce
