Job Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Finance Business Support Manager to oversee the financial operations of two prestigious 5-star hotels with a 300 room inventory. If you possess strong communication skills, a background in owner relations, and drive for enhancing business performance, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Owner Relationship Management: Utilise your expertise in dealing with hotel owners, establishing robust communication channels, and leveraging previous experience to foster strong, mutually beneficial relationships.

Strategic Business Advice: Provide insightful guidance to General Managers, Department Managers, and Owners on proposed business activities, conducting analysis, and offering sound financial advice.

Policy Implementation and Improvement: Ensure the enforcement of appropriate policies and procedures to enhance the overall success of the properties.

Internal Controls and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust internal control systems while adhering strictly to company financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

Financial Monitoring and Control: Exercise vigilance over revenue, expenses, and working capital, ensuring alignment within the agreed-upon budget framework.

Team Development: Mentor and nurture the finance and business support staff within your purview, fostering their professional growth and development.

Financial Planning and Analysis: Engage actively in financial planning activities, including budget preparation, forecasting, variance analysis, and subsequently develop actionable plans and timelines for enhancing performance.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing owner relationships within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Previous managerial experience, with the ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools for data analysis and reporting.

Compensation:

Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $135,000 (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
