Role: Financial Controller

Location: Sydney, Australia

Property: 5-star, Well-known Hotel Operator

Salary: $130,000- 140,000 per annum

Qualifications:

• Well-qualified CPA professional
• Extensive experience in financial management and control
• Strong background in the hospitality industry preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial aspects of the property's operations
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Provide guidance and strategic insights to senior management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in a large-scale hotel or hospitality environment preferred
