Executive Assistant Manager - Luxury Five-Star Hotel, West Africa

Our client operates a luxury five-star Hotel in Abuja, and they now require an experienced Executive Assistant Manager to join the team. This role reports directly to the General Manager and deputises for him in his absence. With over 500 rooms, multi F&B outlets and banqueting for up to 2,000 guests, candidates must be used to coping with the demands of high volumes in a five-star environment. This role requires the skills of a qualified hospitality professional with a strong background in Food & Beverage.

Key requirements

  • Must preferably have prior experience in Africa at a senior level
  • Strong F&B background required - must be used to large volume banqueting and very busy multi F&B outlets.
  • A good working knowledge of rooms will be a distinct advantage
  • Must be holding a similar position in a reputable 200+ room 5-star property
  • Used to working with and managing large multicultural teams effectively and sensitively, a great mentor
  • Very hands on role, attention to detail required
  • Solid business acumen and used to dealing with budgets and financial controls
  • Excellent guest contact skills
  • Fluent in English and a great communicator
  • Must hold formal Hospitality qualifications and preferably have prior international exposure
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to think on their feet
  • Computer-literate
  • Must have a solid track record 

Package

Salary up to US$5,500 net per month depending on experience
