Position: Executive Sous Chef
Location: Luxury Five-Star Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria
About the Hotel:
- Well-established luxury five-star hotel in Lagos, renowned in the West African region.
- Offers over 350 keys, multiple F&B outlets, and conference facilities for up to 1500 guests.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Executive Chef in maintaining high culinary standards across all outlets and banqueting.
- Manage kitchen operations to cater to consistently high volumes in all outlets.
Key Attributes:
- International experience preferred; candidates with diverse culinary backgrounds are encouraged.
- Prior hardship or remote experience advantageous, demonstrating strong logistical skills.
- Hands-on leadership approach, supporting the team on the kitchen floor.
- Passion for cooking, creativity, and innovation in culinary arts.
- Experience in similar positions within international four or five-star properties.
- Strong classical training with the ability to train and mentor the brigade.
- Excellent guest contact skills to interact with high-end clientele.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to manage multicultural teams effectively and sensitively.
- Fluent in English, with effective communication skills at all levels.
Package:
- Salary US$4,000 net per month.
- On-site accommodation provided.
- Comprehensive medical coverage.
- Annual flight home.
- Single status only.
