Our client is managing a market-leading restaurant on the stunning Mornington Peninsula, known for its exceptional service, breathtaking views, and a curated wine list featuring the best local wineries. We’re seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead a dynamic team of 20 staff, delivering outstanding dining experiences to a diverse clientele.

What You’ll Do:

Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service across all shifts.

Lead, train, and motivate a team of 20 staff members, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Enhance guest experiences through exceptional service and engagement with our exciting food concept and wine selections.

Manage floor operations, including staff rosters, service standards, and customer interactions.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes.

Uphold the high standards of customer service, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a high-end or busy restaurant setting.
  
• A passion for food, wine, and hospitality, with a keen interest in local wines and fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work across all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
