Salary: US$66,000

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Sales and Marketing for a premier 400+ room property in Lagos, Nigeria. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and drive revenue growth in a highly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets across all market segments, with a particular focus on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and corporate accounts.
  • Lead and motivate a team of 10 sales and marketing professionals to excel in a fast-paced, market-driven environment.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate partners and MICE organisers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee all promotional activities, advertising campaigns, and digital marketing efforts to enhance the property's visibility and appeal.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure optimal allocation of resources and maximum ROI.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role within the African hospitality market.

Strong background in managing MICE and corporate market segments.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales and marketing team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a high-energy, target-driven environment.
