Head of Landscaping – Exclusive Property in Cannes, France

We are seeking an experienced Head of Landscaping to oversee the stunning grounds of one of the most prestigious estates in the Cannes region. This is a unique opportunity to manage and maintain breathtaking gardens, ensuring they remain pristine year-round.

€66-72K net per year, plus a 13th-month salary

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the gardens, including landscape design, maintenance, and enhancement of the property's vast green spaces.

Lead and manage a dedicated team of skilled gardeners and staff, ensuring smooth coordination of tasks and projects.

Develop and implement seasonal garden care plans, maintaining the highest standards of horticulture and design.

Ensure proper upkeep of lawns, flowerbeds, trees, and decorative features, preserving the estate's reputation for beauty and exclusivity.

Monitor and manage budgets for landscaping materials and labour.

Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialised gardening needs or large-scale projects.

Requirements:

• EU working rights essential 
• Proven experience in managing large-scale or luxury garden landscapes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Expertise in horticulture, landscape design, and seasonal garden planning.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the estate’s gardens remain of the highest quality.
• Proficiency in French is a plus, English essential.
