Job Opportunity: Chef de Cuisines – Southeast Asian Cuisine

Location: Townsville

We are looking for a Chef de Cuisines with a passion for Southeast Asian cuisine to join a dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a busy kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. You will collaborate closely with front-of-house and management teams to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
  • Create and maintain a menu that celebrates authentic Southeast Asian flavours.
  • Supervise, train, and inspire kitchen staff to ensure high performance and team unity.
  • Monitor food inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen according to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Group Executive Chef to ensure alignment with the restaurant's vision and objectives.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure the perfect balance between food quality and customer service.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience in Southeast Asian cuisine, with a deep understanding of the region's diverse culinary traditions.
  • Proven leadership in managing kitchen teams, especially in high-volume environments.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen regulations.
  • Creative, innovative, and passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Salary: $100K
