We are recruiting for a dynamic and passionate Learning and Development Manager to join an established and fast-paced operation in Nigeria. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume environments and is passionate about people development and service excellence.
Our client operates multiple restaurants, lounges, and bars, alongside a major convention centre with capacity for over 2,000 guests. We are looking for an individual who can design and implement impactful training programs to elevate guest experiences and enhance team performance across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging training programs for front-line and management teams across F&B outlets and the convention centre
Focus on service excellence, upskilling teams in guest experience, operational standards, and brand values
Assess training needs and create tailored learning solutions for a diverse, large-scale team
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
Monitor training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and results
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and service standards
Mentor and coach departmental trainers to support operational goals
Key Requirements:
Prior experience in large-scale hotel operations is essential
Experience overseeing training for multiple outlets, including restaurants, lounges, bars, and events venues
Formal training qualifications are required
Strong background in food and beverage training, with hands-on experience
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to engage and inspire a multicultural workforce
Proven success in delivering high-impact training in fast-paced environments
