Banquet Manager – Luxury Retreat, Macedon Ranges, Victoria

Are you an experienced Banquet Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional events? We're looking for a dynamic individual to lead and oversee banquet operations at a stunning luxury retreat in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria.

This beautiful retreat boasts spacious rooms and breathtaking land views, making it an ideal setting for conferences, weddings, and events. The property accommodates events for up to 200 guests, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Operations: Oversee the seamless execution of conferences, weddings, and other events, providing a hands-on leadership role in ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Deputise for the General Manager: Take charge of the retreat’s operations in the absence of the GM, ensuring everything operates to the highest standards.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a dedicated events team, guiding them through daily operations and delivering a great service.

Procurement & Stock Control: Oversee rostering, stock control, and procurement for the banquet department, ensuring the team is fully stocked and prepared for every event.


Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in banquet or event management, with a focus on high-end corporate and wedding events.

Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to lead by example.

Comfortable taking on responsibility and deputising in the GM's absence.

Experience in stock control, procurement, and managing budgets.
