Business Development Manager – MICE

Salary: $95K + Bonus

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for MICE markets? We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading hotel with a well-established conference and events centre in the Monash area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and results-focused individual to take ownership of the MICE segment, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth through proactive sales strategies.

Key responsibilities:

Proactively source, secure, and grow MICE business from corporate, government, education, and association markets

Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and networking

Prepare proposals, conduct site inspections, and represent the property at trade events

Collaborate with the sales and events team to ensure seamless client experiences

Meet and exceed revenue targets and KPIs

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in hotel sales or MICE-focused business development
• Strong knowledge of the Melbourne and greater Monash market is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-starter with a strong network and proactive approach to lead generation
• Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously
