Are you a strong Maintenance Manager ready to take the next step in your career? This is a rare opportunity to become Chief Engineer for a well-established hotel with over 200 rooms in the Monash area.

We're seeking a hands-on, proactive leader with the drive to lead a small engineering team and oversee the full scope of property operations, maintenance, and compliance.

 Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all engineering and maintenance operations for rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and plant equipment

Ensure compliance with safety, building, and fire regulations

Manage preventive maintenance schedules and energy-saving initiatives

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and senior management on capital projects and repairs

Lead, coach, and develop a small technical team

Respond to emergencies and operational issues as required

What We're Looking For:

Experience as a Maintenance Manager in a hotel or similar environment

Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Passion for problem-solving and delivering high standards
