General Counsel – Luxury Hotel Group | Based in Bangkok, Thailand

We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Counsel to join a prestigious and growing hotel group with exquisite properties across Thailand and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a dynamic leadership team as the company embarks on a phase of expansion and development.

As General Counsel, you will serve as the chief legal advisor, working closely with the Board of Directors and senior leadership to support corporate strategy, ensure legal compliance, and safeguard the company’s interests across all operational and developmental aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and hospitality-related matters.

Advise the Board of Directors and Executive Team on legal strategy and risk management.

Review, draft, and negotiate high-value contracts, leases, and partnership agreements.

Oversee compliance with local and international regulations, licensing, and employment laws.

Manage external counsel and coordinate legal support across all business units.

Support mergers, acquisitions, and new property developments with legal due diligence.

Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, or disputes when required.

Requirements:

Thai nationality is essential.

Fluent in both Thai and English (spoken and written).

Qualified legal professional with experience in hospitality, real estate, or corporate law.

Minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably including in-house roles.

Strong understanding of the Thai legal system and regulatory environment.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently with the Board and external stakeholders.
