A leading hospitality property with 800+ rooms is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Director to oversee all technical operations, facility upkeep, and energy management programs. This role ensures the entire property—inside and out—runs safely, efficiently, and reliably at all times.

Role Overview

• Lead all engineering and maintenance functions across a large-scale hotel environment.
• Manage key systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, water, and structural integrity.
• Oversee landscaping, grounds, building infrastructure, and energy-saving initiatives.
• Develop budgets, maintenance plans, and long-term engineering strategies.
• Supervise and train a sizeable technical team and manage outside contractors.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, fire, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, inventories, and capital planning documents.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical education.

10+ years’ experience in hotel engineering within major or complex properties.

Strong knowledge of building systems, project management, and preventive maintenance.

Technical background in HVAC, chillers, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Certifications such as C.E.O.E, EPA, CPO, or HVAC highly valued.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong English language skills.
