Urgent Appointment | Human Resources Director – Vietnam

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Human Resources Director to be engaged in the opening of one of Vietnam’s largest and most prestigious integrated hotel and resort developments.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a senior HR leader to play a pivotal role in the pre-opening and long-term success of a landmark hospitality project.

Key Requirements

• Currently operating at HR Director level or higher
• Fluent in Vietnamese (spoken and written) – essential
• Proven experience in pre-opening and large-scale resort or hotel operations
• Demonstrated ability to set up HR offices from the ground up
• Strong expertise in developing HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Extensive experience managing large, multidisciplinary workforces
• Confident in talent acquisition strategies, workforce planning, compliance, and employee relations
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to engage at executive and ownership level

The Role

Lead the full HR pre-opening strategy and execution

Establish all HR systems, structures, and processes

Oversee recruitment and onboarding for a large workforce

Ensure compliance with Vietnamese labour laws and best practices

Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and ownership

Remuneration

Salary negotiable, commensurate with experience and seniority
