Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Group Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a large hospitality provider in Papua New Guinea. This is a rare and career-defining opportunity for a senior finance professional with extensive multi-unit experience in challenging locations.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in hardship or remote locations – experience in Africa is highly desirable
  • Strong background in managing multiple business units within the hospitality industry
  • Expertise across all aspects of finance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire an international workforce
  • Highly creative in staff satisfaction, wellness, and engagement initiatives
  • Strong strategic and operational finance skills, able to partner effectively with executive leadership
  • Excellent communication and leadership presence at group level

The Role

Oversee group-wide financial operations across multiple hospitality entities 

Ensure financial control, compliance, and risk management across all business units

Drive financial strategy and performance improvement initiatives

Lead the finance team, mentoring and developing talent in a multicultural environment

Collaborate with leadership to enhance operational efficiency, staff satisfaction, and wellness programs

Remuneration

Salary: USD 120,000 – 144,000, commensurate with experience and expertise
