An innovative and growing Chartered Accounting firm in Melbourne is seeking a Tax Specialist to join its close-knit and forward-thinking team. This is a hands-on role working directly with a diverse client portfolio, offering genuine autonomy and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of business and individual client accounts

Prepare and review tax returns, BAS, IAS, and compliance work

Provide practical tax advice and solutions tailored to client needs

Work closely with accountants on client strategy

Build strong, trusted relationships with clients

Assist with process improvements and embrace modern accounting tools

About You

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
• CA / CPA qualified or currently working towards
• Proven experience in public practice (small to mid-tier firm preferred)
• Strong technical tax knowledge with a client-first mindset
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile team environment
