Our client is a highly diversified and fast-growing hospitality group with an impressive footprint across the Gulf region and Africa. Their portfolio spans luxury hotels and resorts, mixed-use residential developments, convention and exhibition centres, retail destinations, casual and fine-dining restaurants, and premium wellness spas.

As the group enters its next phase of expansion, they are seeking a visionary Director of Technology & Innovation to join their Head Office leadership team.

The Opportunity

This is a rare, high-impact role designed to redefine how technology enables growth. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the Director of Technology & Innovation will own the group’s end-to-end technology strategy—driving digitisation, innovation, cyber resilience, and scalable platforms across multiple geographies and business lines.

The mandate is clear: elevate IT from a support function into a strategic growth engine—enhancing guest and customer experience, improving productivity, strengthening governance, and enabling rapid entry into new markets. The role requires frequent travel across operating assets and development locations.

Key Responsibilities & Profile

• 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, ideally across multi-site or multi-brand environments (hospitality, F&B, catering, or consumer-facing sectors strongly preferred)
• Proven success delivering large-scale digitisation and transformation programmes with clear, measurable commercial outcomes
• Strong commercial acumen and governance mindset, with the ability to balance innovation and risk
• Solid working knowledge of cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and compliance, confident engaging senior leadership, boards, and auditors
• Highly effective stakeholder leader—able to translate complex technology into practical, operational impact
• Structured, analytical problem-solver with a hands-on execution mindset
• Exceptional communication and influence skills
• Innovation-driven, ROI-focused, and commercially grounded
• Strategic thinker who can move seamlessly from vision to delivery
