Group Director of Engineering – Fijian Resort Group

Salary: Negotiable | Expatriate Package

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Director of Engineering to lead and oversee all engineering and technical operations across a collection of resorts in Fiji. This is an exceptional opportunity for a hands-on leader with a proven track record in island resort environments and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all engineering and technical operations across multiple resort properties

Ensure peak asset performance, preventive maintenance, and sustainability initiatives

Manage budgets, cost controls, and vendor/contractor relationships

Oversee electrical, mechanical, water, pool, and building systems

Implement health, safety, and compliance standards

Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams across all properties

Support property development, refurbishment, and capital projects

Ideal Candidate:

Extensive engineering experience in island resorts or Fijian properties

Strong leadership and team management skills

Commercially minded with hands-on operational expertise

Expatriate experience highly regarded

Long-term commitment with ability to manage multi-property operations

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
