GENERAL MANAGER – LUXURY BOUTIQUE HOTEL | WEST AFRICA

• Lead a high-profile luxury property catering to VIP guests, corporate elites & government dignitaries
• Drive overall hotel performance with a strong focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction
• Take full ownership of daily operations across rooms division, F&B, and guest services
• Deliver exceptional standards aligned with international luxury hospitality benchmarks
• Build, mentor and lead a diverse, multi-cultural team in a hands-on leadership role
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, owners, and local authorities
• Ensure strict financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimisation
• Act as the face of the property, ensuring outstanding guest engagement at all levels
• Oversee operational efficiency, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience as a General Manager within a luxury hotel environment
• Background in boutique or smaller properties (sub-100 rooms preferred)
• Prior experience in Africa or remote / hardship locations highly advantageous
• Strong commercial mindset with solid financial and operational acumen
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, hands-on, and able to perform under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate culturally diverse teams
• Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification

Net salary: US$7,500 – US$8,000 per month
