Director of Island Operations – Indian Ocean

A rare leadership opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take full operational ownership of a high-end island resort in the Indian Ocean.

Key Responsibilities & Scope:

• Full end-to-end leadership of island operations, ensuring seamless guest experience and world-class service delivery

• Act as the primary “face of the island”, engaging directly with guests and stakeholders

• Oversee all operational departments

• Drive service excellence, operational efficiency, and consistent brand standards across all areas

• Lead, mentor, and develop multicultural teams in a remote island environment

• Ensure strong financial and operational performance in line with ownership expectations

Candidate Requirements:

• • Previous remote island or resort-based operational experience is essential
• • Background as Operations Manager, General Manager, or Resort Manager preferred
• • Strong Rooms Division foundation including Engineering, Housekeeping, and Wellness oversight
• • Highly visible, guest-centric leadership style with a strong presence on the floor
• • German language capability is a must (client requirement)
• • Proven ability to operate in high-end luxury or island resort environments
