Director of Finance – Phu Quoc, Vietnam

A larger luxury resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to join its Executive Committee and lead the resort's financial operations, governance, and business performance.

 Key Responsibilities

* Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning

* Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements

* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with international accounting standards

* Manage audits, taxation, cash flow, and risk management processes

* Partner closely with the General Manager and Executive Committee to support strategic business decisions

* Monitor financial performance and provide commercial insights to maximise profitability

* Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team while fostering a high-performance culture

* Maintain strong relationships with owners, auditors, financial institutions, and key stakeholders

 Ideal Candidate

• * Vietnamese speaking only
• * Minimum 10 years' experience in finance, including at least 3–5 years as a Director of Finance within large-scale or high-end hotels
• * Strong expertise in hotel financial controls, compliance, forecasting, and financial reporting
• * Experience in large-scale all-inclusive resorts or pre-opening projects is highly preferred
• * Solid understanding of international accounting standards, audits, and financial governance
• * Strong leadership capability with proven stakeholder and ownership management skills
• * Commercially minded with the ability to support operational decision-making at Executive Committee level
