ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Tower Hotel Melbourne is seeking reliable, motivated and customer-focused candidates to join our hospitality team. We have multiple full-time opportunities available across different areas of hotel operations.
Successful candidates will work in a professional hospitality environment and will receive appropriate training where applicable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:
* Welcoming and assisting hotel guests.
* Providing professional customer service.
* Handling guest enquiries and requests.
* Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and hotel areas.
* Taking and serving food and beverage orders.
* Assisting with food preparation and kitchen operations.
* Delivering food and beverages to guest rooms.
* Sorting, washing, drying and preparing hotel linen.
* Maintaining clean, safe and welcoming hotel facilities.
* Working with housekeeping, reception, kitchen and other hotel departments.
* Following hotel hygiene, health, safety and workplace procedures.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
* Must be 18 years or older.
* Basic English communication skills.
* Previous hospitality, hotel, cleaning, customer-service or related experience is an advantage, depending on the position.
* Training may be provided where applicable.
* Reliable and professional attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
* Valid passport for applicants applying from overseas.
