GENERAL MANAGER – BOUTIQUE LUXURY HOTEL

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

We are seeking an experienced and highly polished General Manager to lead a boutique, high-luxury operation in Lagos.

This is an opportunity for a classical, old-school hotelier who understands that a true General Manager is the face of the property — visible, present, engaging with guests, staff, VIPs and dignitaries, and personally setting the standards of service.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 25+ years of international luxury hospitality experience

• Strong General Manager / Hotel Manager background within high-end properties

• Experience welcoming and personally engaging with VIPs, dignitaries and high-profile guests

• A sophisticated, polished and fashionable presence

• Strong understanding of traditional, classical hotel operations

• Proven ability to lead a signature restaurant and showcase the property’s products and experiences

• Exceptional guest-service standards and a genuine passion for hospitality

• A hands-on leadership style with strong operational discipline

• The ability to create value through service, attention to detail and commercial awareness

• A strong focus on creating a genuine sense of belonging for both guests and employees

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills

We are particularly interested in a classically European trained General Manager who believes in the traditional values of luxury hotel operations — where the GM knows the guests, knows the team, is visible throughout the property and personally drives the service culture.

The successful candidate will be expected to raise service levels, develop the team, protect the reputation of the property and create an environment where guests want to return and employees are proud to belong.

Salary: US$90,000–100,000
