CHIEF STEWARD – LARGE HOTEL & HOSPITALITY OPERATION

Adelaide | Salary $95,000

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Chief Steward to take charge of a large-scale hotel and hospitality operation in Adelaide.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, manage and develop a team of 30+ stewarding staff.
• Oversee all stewarding, kitchen cleaning and back-of-house operations.
• Manage crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment inventory.
• Control stock levels, purchasing, breakages and operational costs.
• Ensure exceptional hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety standards.
• Coordinate daily operations across multiple kitchens, restaurants and banquet facilities.
• Work closely with Executive Chefs, F&B and operational management.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Proven Chief Steward or senior Stewarding Manager experience in a large hotel or hospitality operation.

Strong background managing teams of 30+ employees.

Excellent organisational, inventory and cost-control skills.

Experienced in large-scale banqueting and high-volume operations.

A hands-on leader capable of maintaining the highest operational standards.
