Currently recruiting for an experienced Director of Finance & Business Support to take control of the Finance and Accounting function of this 5-star resort located in sunny Phuket.

The position is open to all Nationalities, and Thai-speaking candidates are preferred.

Working alongside the General Manager and DH's

Strong South East Asian experiences is essential, particular in Thailand 

Managing capex budget & expenditures

Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Department

Building and developing an effective Finance team including recruitment, training, control, performance appraisals and counselling

To be directly accountable for all financial information sent to the General Manager, owners and auditors of the hotel with accuracy and detail

To ensure that all departments and senior leaders adopt policies and internal controls maximising departmental profit and a high level of compliance

Directly accountable for the compilation of the annual budgets and monthly forecasting in consultation with the General Manager and with input from the leadership team

Generate accurate, relevant and timely reports (both financial and general) to the General Manager and Owners in line with USALI guidelines

Prepare policies and procedures relevant to Finance department

About YOU:

CPA / CA qualification and / or High Level of Experience in a similar role 

High level of exposure and comfort with a variety of software systems

Ability to generate high level excel reports

Advanced report writing skills

Strong verbal communication skills and a proactive approach to sharing information
