We are recruiting for a Cluster Financial Controller for a hotel company located in Melbourne.

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the smooth and efficient operation of the Finance and Accounting team.

Main Responsibilities:

You will possess demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring team members to develop and grow their skills and abilities. Additionally, you will bring with your recent experience in adhering to all terms and conditions of a global hotel management agreement, with proven ability to manage and liaise with the company’s owners.

In conjunction with the General Manager and Department Heads, you will compile all budget and forecasts relating to all activities of the hotel and the maintenance of all budget control procedures.

Your supportive leadership style will see you oversee the overall group with finance-related issues.

This role will be liaising with and supporting the company’s and owners expectation through regular reviews and monthly discussions about the hotel’s financial results.

Skills and Experience:

Recent experience successfully leading a finance department within a global or Australian hotel chain would be highly regarded

CA or CPA qualification

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and juggle a busy workload

An ability to analyze, translate and interpret information from different sources
