Job Overview

Our client is managing a 5 star and 300+ Room Hotel with Event Facilities at the Gold Coast and is now seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounting team.

Reporting to National Finance Director and General Manager

300+ Rooms with Restaurant, Lounge, Bar and Event Facilities 

Lead, manage and mentor your finance team, developing a strong and high performing team

‘Hands on’ involved in accounting & finance

Manage billing, AR, AP, cost accounting, inventory & revenue recognition

Assisting department heads with financial overviews and cost factors 

Overlooking payroll for 160+ staff

  • CPA or CA qualified
  • 5-star hotel experiences 
  • Manage all ‘hotel’ finance performances & objectives as per schedule
  • Administer treasury function, accounting, payroll & finance control
  • Analysis and adjust all FC software
  • Support preparation & presentation of budgets & forecasts
  • Monitor and control cashflow for the complex
  • Maintain internal control system & process flow
